🚀 Major New Features & Updates

Apps integrated inside ChatGPT
You can now use popular third-party apps within ChatGPT: Canva, Spotify, Figma, Coursera, Booking.com, Expedia, Zillow etc.
These are conversational/app integrations, so e.g. you might say “Spotify, make me a playlist” or use Canva design tasks inside a chat.
ChatGPT “Pulse” for Pro users
A preview feature for iOS/Android where ChatGPT sends a daily digest/pulse: personalized updates based on your memory, chats, what you’ve been working on.
It shows visual summaries you can glance through (and dive into if you want), and you can shape what shows up via feedback.
Project-only memory & expanded memory controls
Projects now have the option for “project-only memory”—meaning that if enabled, ChatGPT will use only conversations within that project for context (not mixing with all your other saved memories).
Memory improvements for Free users: the system is now better at referencing recent conversations.
“ChatGPT Go” subscription plan in India
A new lower-cost subscription plan launched in India (₹399/month) which gives more message allowance, larger file uploads, expanded image generation, plus advanced data analysis & longer memory.
Updates to GPT-5 behavior / modes / control
More personality warmth: GPT-5’s default personality was made a bit more warm/familiar rather than too formal or cold.
New modes for GPT-5: “Auto”, “Fast”, and “Thinking” – allowing users to pick different balances between speed vs depth. “Fast” for quicker responses, “Thinking” for deeper, more involved ones.
Rate / message limits: for example Plus users get certain amounts of usage in “Thinking” mode per week.
Connectors to external services
You can now connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts so ChatGPT can reference them when relevant.
Also connectors for services like Dropbox, GitHub etc for deeper research and document/chat search.
Voice & Conversation Enhancements
Advanced Voice Mode has been improved and in some places expanded (duration, expressiveness etc).
Branching conversations: you can now branch off a conversation (from a particular message) to explore a different direction without losing the original thread.
